Assessment Procedures - Asia Smartphone Apps Contest 2015

Initial Round Assessment – The Expert Panel, with members composed of reputable experts in the fields of marketing, advertising, creative design, and smartphone apps development, will assess the eligible entries based on the information and the 1-minute introductory video (for apps presentation) submitted by the applicants in accordance with the judging criteria mentioned above. The Initial Round will short-list 9 finalists, 3 from each app category, for the Final Round Assessment. A total of 30 Certificate of Merits will also be short-listed in the Initial Round.
Final Round Assessment - The 9 finalists will receive notification by mid-May 2014 for attending the Final Judging Session which will be held in Hong Kong in June 2015. The finalists are required to deliver a 15-minute presentation to the Final Judging Panel composed of representative of the co-organizers from the Asian regions, which will determine the ranking of the 9 finalists. All finalists will receive their awards and recognition at the Asia Smartphone Apps Summit cum Awards Presentation Ceremony to be held in Hong Kong on the next day after the presentation.
The decision of the Final Judging Panel for the Awards is final.
